It is an honor to serve as the President of the Chester County HR Association for the 2025–2026 program year. Our chapter has long been a place where human resources professionals, business leaders, and community partners come together to learn, connect, and advance the practice of people-centered leadership. I am excited to continue that legacy while exploring new ways to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s workforce.
The world of work is evolving faster than ever—shaped by technology, shifting employee expectations, and the demand for inclusive, resilient workplaces. In the year ahead, CCHRA will focus on:
- Elevating Professional Growth – through meaningful programs, peer learning, and skills-building opportunities.
- Fostering Community and Belonging – creating spaces where HR professionals can share experiences, solutions, and support.
- Driving Innovation in HR Practices – highlighting tools, trends, and strategies that strengthen both people and organizations.
- Recognizing our Local Leaders- so many individuals are doing great work on behalf of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), right here in Chester County. We would like to recognize our homegrown SHRM members making differences and great strides in our communities.
Feeding Growth, Fueling Change- HR and Beyond! Is our 2025-2026 tagline; We are honored to partner with the Chester County Food Bank this year’s Charity Organization. Stay tuned via our newsletter and social media to stay involved with any fundraising and support efforts.
I invite you to engage deeply with our chapter this year—attend events, contribute your expertise, and connect with peers. Together, we can champion workplaces that value people as the heart of every organization.
Thank you for your trust, your membership, and your commitment to making a positive difference in the HR profession and beyond. I look forward to an impactful and inspiring year together.
With gratitude and excitement,
Javonna Wylie
